Heather Mills today accused the media of pushing her to the brink of suicide, and said that she was campaigning for changes to media laws.

Sir Paul McCartney's estranged wife cried as she was interviewed on GMTV this morning, claiming that her daughter's and her own life are under threat because of media attention.

The former model, who had asked to appear on GMTV, said that police had warned her there was an "underground movement" making serious death threats against her and that she held the media responsible.
