To savor every instant, suck up and breathe each infinitesimal moment between the clock's every tick, to truly enjoy instant of living: it's a lofty ambition, but very sound advice. Especially if another planet is hurtling towards earth and your entire species is on the verge of extinction.

Kirsten Dunst, star of "Melancholia," features on a character banner for the upcoming Lars von Trier art film, embracing her wedding day -- and what looks to be falling debris -- as her fate draws near. Of course, she has every reason to be happy in real life; the film, though difficult in some ways and a lightning rod because of its director's ridiculous statements to the press last May, has helped revive her career, as she won the prestigious Best Actress award at the Cannes Film Festival for her work.

The film comes out in limited release on November 11th
