Lena Dunham Professes Her Adoration For Jimmy Fallon To His Face

Lena Dunham is quite possibly Jimmy Fallon's biggest fan and, in Lena Dunham fashion, isn't afraid to share it with the world.

Dunham was a guest on "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" Tuesday night, March 18, and told Fallon about something particularly awkward her mother, the artist Laurie Simmons, had told her.

Commenting on Dunham's boyfriend of two years, musician Jack Antonoff, Simmons said she loves Jack, but always thought her daughter would marry Fallon. "She said it like we had a previous relationship," Dunham told Fallon, "like you were my first boyfriend, but things didn't work out and she always thought we'd get back together. Not like I had 50 magazine covers of you up in my bathroom."

"I knew this would make you a little embarrassed," Dunham joked as Fallon blushed.

But this isn't the first time the "Girls" creator has professed her love. Back in 2012, Dunham told Fallon she was "obsessed" with him in high school.
