Mariska Hargitay covers More's February issue, out January 26. Inside, the 'Law & Order: SVU' star talks about about the ratings disaster her series suffered as a result of Jay Leno's move to 10 p.m.

When Leno pushed SVU and other 10 p.m. NBC programming to 9 p.m.:

"It ruined our numbers. The first four episodes, we were considerably down because nobody knew when the show was on. Finally, we're starting to find our audience again. I hope we go back to where we belong. It was doing so well. Why mess with it?"

She also talks about suffering a collapsed lung, dealing with the beauty standards of Hollywood and remembering her late mother, screen siren Jayne Mansfield.
