Woody Harrelson has done some of his finest work while playing a psycho, so this next role seems tailor made for the star.

The renegade survivor in "Zombieland" and future drunkard Haymitch in "The Hunger Games" has signed on to play a shih tzu-loving gangster in the Martin McDonagh's crime caper, "Seven Psychopaths."

Farrell takes the lead in his "In Bruges" director's story of a screenwriter struggling with writer's block who teams up with friends -- played by Sam Rockwell and Christopher Walken -- to steal said gangster's said shih tzu. It's a zany concept and an even zanier cast -- did we mention Tom Waits was also just cast? -- and one to which we're especially looking forward.
