At the start of the newest "Haywire" trailer, you think, ah, another poignant and stark Michael Fassbender flick.

And then, BOOM.

Fassbender and Gina Carano enter their hotel room and go right at it: A head-punching, glass-shattering "Kill Bill" style brawl.

The shocking scene is an apropos entry to Steven Soderbergh's action movie. Here, Fassbender and Carano play fellow agents on assignment in Dublin. In reality, their higher-ups sent Fassbender to take out the uncrossable lady, with the story that (every spy agency thinks up) she had "gone rogue." Though, Carano won't go down without a fight -- or many, many fights.

Fassbender and Carano join "Haywire's" impressive cast of Channing Tatum, Ewan McGregor, Antonio Banderas, Bill Paxton and Michael Douglas.
