'Teen Mom' Star Kailyn Lowry Plans To Eat Her Placenta

Umm, did someone say TMI?

"Teen Mom 2" star Kailyn Lowry is pregnant with her second child who's due next month, and she took to Twitter this week to share her after-birth plans.

The 21-year-old has a son, Isaac, born January 2010, notes Us Weekly. She is now pregnant with husband Javi Marroquin's child (Isaac's father is Jo Rivera).

Earlier this week, the proud father-to-be posted an ultrasound photo to his Instagram account:

Although still somewhat controversial, Lowry is hardly the first celebrity to open up about the practice, known for preventing or reducing negative aspects of childbirth, such as postpartum depression, "baby blues," fatigue, lactational insufficiency and hormone deficiencies. Kim Kardashian, January Jones and Holly Madison have famously talked about eating their placentas in pill form after delivery.

MTV notes that the encapsulation cost Lowry $200.
