'Sons Of Anarchy': Clay's Fate With The Club Decided
|

It was a huge moment for Jax on "Sons of Anarchy," though it didn't go down quite how he wanted. He was determined to find evidence of Clay's betrayal and duplicity and then bring them to the table. Instead, Bobby convinced Clay to confess to his misdeeds and let the club decide his fate.

A unanimous vote was needed for action so drastic, but the club decided to strip him of his patches and membership in the Sons. His life was only spared when Bobby abstained from voting. Now, Clay is looking to hop the first transport to Ireland to lay low for a while.

As Bobby explained to a fuming Jax, he made his decision to keep Jax from becoming the very man he was trying to kill. The gavel changes a man, Jax acknowledged. And then he proved it by taking out his frustration on Abel's biological mother, who'd threatened to fight for custody.

This after she'd been kidnapped as part of a negotiating tactic by the Irish. A recovering addict, Jax shot her up with heroin and said he'd be demanding a drug test in the morning to ensure she never threatened his family again.

Will the darkness ever lift over Charming? "Sons of Anarchy" continues every Tuesday at 10 p.m. ET on FX.
