Anna Kendrick Shades Anne Hathaway Ever So Slightly On 'Billy On The Street'

Right after playing a game about Katy Perry's cat.

If there were any person on Earth who understood the inner thoughts of Katy Perry's cat, Kitty Purry, it would be Tony- and Oscar-nominated actress Anna Kendrick. To purr-ove her prowess, she submits to a line of questioning about what Kitty Purry cares about from Billy Eichner of "Billy on the Street." A purr-eview: Kitty Purry is not really fazed by Perry's breakup with John Mayer, but "smelling things that are nearby" is totally a priority.

For her amazing cat whispering skills, Kendrick receives a huge apostrophe -- Lupita Nyong'o's, in fact. "She doesn't need it anymore?" Kendrick asked. "No, she doesn't, she has an Oscar!" Eichner responded.

Still, a giant apostrophe is a pretty high honor. Kendrick adopts a treacly voice for her one-line acceptance: "It came true."

"Oh, if you guys get that reference, I really love you," Eichner responded. We sure did, Anna.
