Joseph Gordon-Levitt Wins The 'Star Wars' Red Carpet With DIY Yoda Costume

Everybody else can pack up and go home.

Call him the master of disguise. 

Joseph Gordon-Levitt blew all red carpet competition out of the water at the Los Angeles premiere of "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" on Monday night. Instead of opting for the typical tuxedo, Gordon-Levitt, always one to think outside the box, drew inspiration from one of the wisest and greenest characters in the universe: Yoda. 

In addition to painting his face Yoda's shade of green, the 34-year-old actor dressed in a white bathrobe, "The Grinch" patterned pajama pants and a beanie with pointy-eared attachments. Doesn't his costume look like something your middle-school self would have cobbled together last minute before Halloween?

As Yoda once said, “Truly wonderful, the mind of a child is."

Gordon-Levitt's last transformation took place on the Christmas episode of Spike's "Lip Sync Battle." The actor performed Janet Jackson's "Rhythm Nation" in full Janet drag, makeup and hair extensions included. He not only looked great, but also brought the house down with his spot-on rendition.
