To Tweet Or Not To Tweet: Whitney Cummings Shouldn't

Whitney Cumming's Twitter Needs Laugh Track
|

Just like her new show "Whitney," comedian and now actress, Whitney Cumming's Twitter feed is in dire need of a laugh track. Although we love the crude and quirky giggle go-getter, Cummings' 140 character or less ramblings have taken on the ephemera of a sitcom that seems to be gasping for air right out of the gate -- oh wait, she has one of those too.

From punchy one-liners that lack a punchline to shameless promotion for her fledgling show -- that actually didn't do terribly in terms of ratings (but then again neither did NBC's "Outsourced" before it was panned) -- Cummings takes 'Twitter-trying-too-hard syndrome to a whole new level.

What's the upside? If you tweet at Ms. Cummings you'll most likely get a response from the actress, herself! There's only room for one quirky brunette in this town and that girl is Zooey Deschanel -- Sorry, Whit!
