Some lucky New Yorkers had the pleasure of spotting the veteran actress on the subway Thursday night, as Mirren rode the downtown R train with the rest of the commuters. The 69-year-old looked elegant as ever in a fluffy gray coat and long purple gloves as she clutched her beige bag on her lap:
