While Marisa Tomei has come a very long way from wearing bejeweled bodysuits, to us, her biological clock will always be "Ticking. Like. This."
Now she will be getting back to her comedy roots.
Variety reports that the actress just signed on to play Billy Crystal and Bette Midler's daughter in the upcoming comedy, "Us & Them."
In the film, Crystal and Midler play grandparents who, when left to care for their grandchildren, are flummoxed by the youngsters unfamiliar and technologically savvy ways.
The generation gap is central to "Us & Them," as it eventually serves as a jumping off point to repair old familial wounds with their daughter, Alice (played by Tomei).
In the meantime, though, the Oscar winner is not short on compelling work; she recently co-starred in "Crazy, Stupid, Love," and will tap into her political side in George Clooney's much-anticipated "The Ides of March."
