Christoph Waltz Wins The Golden Globe For Best Supporting Actor

The winners of the 70th annual Golden Globe Awards have been announced and Christoph Waltz took home the statue for Best Supporting Actor.

The nominees for Best Supporting Actor were Tommy Lee Jones ("Lincoln"), Christoph Waltz ("Django Unchained"), Alan Arkin ("Argo"), Leonardo DiCaprio ("Django Unchained") and Philip Seymour Hoffman for "The Master."

Every actor in the category has been nominated for a Golden Globe award before.

Steven Spielberg's "Lincoln" led this year's Golden Globe nominations. The film, starring Daniel Day-Lewis as Abraham Lincoln, was nominated for seven awards, including Best Motion Picture - Drama and Best Actor, in addition to Jones' nod for Best Supporting Actor.

The 70th annual Golden Globes took place on Jan. 13, 2013 at Beverly Hills' Beverly Hilton Hotel. "SNL" alums Tina Fey and Amy Poehler hosted the awards show.
