Everyone's excited for "Mad Men" to return in late January, but before Jon Hamm gets dramatic as Don Draper, he'll be flexing his comedy muscle for a brand new role.

Hamm this summer joined the cast of IFC's "The Increasingly Poor Decisions of Todd Margaret," which stars David Cross as an American businessman hopelessly out of his element in Britain. Hamm will play a butler and personal assistant that, from this first look from ET Online, seems just as panicked and helpless as Todd.

There's plenty of reason to get excited about Hamm in this role. He did, after all, get goofy for his scenes in "Bridesmaids" as Kristen Wiig's buffoon lover, and he's turned in some amazing performances on "Saturday Night Live."
