We can't help but sympathize with the plight of Lady Edith, the Jan Brady of "Downton Abbey," perpetually upstaged by her vivacious older sister, Mary, and spunky younger sister, Sybil. Sadly, Edith's suitors have included late cousin Patrick Crawley's impostor, who's been compared to Sloth from "The Goonies," and the elderly Sir Anthony Strallan, whom Edith managed to woo with not-so-subtle pleas, such as "If you think I'm going to give up on someone who calls me lovely…." Edith hit rock bottom on Sunday's episode, when (spoiler alert!) Sir Anthony unceremoniously jilted her at the altar on their wedding day.

We can only hope things pick up for Edith in the episodes to come, but in the meantime, here's a roundup of celebrities who don't suffer from middle child syndrome.
