Once again, the cast of "Vampire Diaries" reminds us why vampires are the hottest supernatural beings on television. Edward Cullen and Bill Compton have nothing on this sexy cast of blood-suckers.
The CW released four incredibly smoldering new pictures of Nina Dobrev, Ian Somerhalder, Joseph Morgan, and Paul Wesley for the upcoming third season, which is set to air on Thursday, Sept. 15. The bloody-good promo pictures show the cast holding bloody pieces of fruit as they stare into the camera--and piece our fangirl hearts with their bedroom eyes.
According to The CW, the first episode entitled, “The Hybrid,” will see Klaus (Morgan) put a plan in motion that will give him even more power, but things don’t go exactly as he had planned. Meanwhile, Damon (Somerhalder) and Alaric (Matt Davis) reluctantly go along with Elena’s (Dobrev) new strategy to find Stefan (Wesley), leading Damon into a dangerous fight with an unexpected enemy.
