Lady Gaga and Tony Bennett will soon make sweet music together.

Gaga and Bennett performed at the final inaugural ball on Tuesday night for Obama campaign staffers at the Washington Convention Center, the Washington Post previously reported. Bennett joined the pop singer on stage for "The Lady is a Tramp," a song the two recorded together in 2011.

On Wednesday, the "Born This Way" singer took to her Twitter to share photos from the private show and confirm that she and Bennett will reunite on an upcoming album.

Gaga and Bennett's rendition of "The Lady is a Tramp," from Rodgers and Hart's 1937 musical "Babes in Arms," appeared on Bennett's "Duets II" album in October 2011. They then performed the tune on her ABC special, "A Very Gaga Thanksgiving."

The 86-year-old crooner revealed plans for a collaborative jazz album with the 26-year-old back in October.

"It's going to really reaffirm that she's one of the best jazz singers that anyone's ever heard," Bennett told Billboard of the Gaga duet. NME reported that the two have not yet found time to record, but they have a "secret" list of songs ready and have approached arranger/orchestrator Marion Evans to work with them.

Gaga has been busy on the North American leg of her Born This Way Ball tour and completing her "ARTPOP" album, which EDM producer Zedd says is still a work in progress.

"The problem with her is obviously that I'm busy and I tour a lot, but she's probably a lot busier than I am, so it's hard to find time to work on something together," he told MTV News. "So we've been working on it for over a year now. There's still a lot of work left, so we're definitely gonna work on this project for the next month."

"ARTPOP" is set to drop some time in 2013.
