David Schwimmer and his wife are taking a break.
The couple announced in a statement to Us Weekly Wednesday that they are going to spend “some time apart” after six years of marriage.
“It is with great love, respect and friendship that we have decided to take some time apart while we determine the future of our relationship,” they said. “Our priority is, of course, our daughter’s happiness and well being during this challenging time, and so we ask for your support and respect for our privacy as we continue to raise her together and navigate this new chapter for our family.”
The two met in London in 2007 and wed in a secret ceremony in October 2010. The 50-year-old “Friends” star and Buckman, a photographer, have one child together, daughter Cleo.
They have kept their relationship private from the media. They were last photographed out in public at the opening night of “The Front Page” on Broadway in New York City in October.
