So far March hasn't been a good month to be an executive producer for network news (unless, of course, you work for ABC). After clocking in its worst numbers since Katie Couric assumed the anchor spot six months ago, "CBS Evening News" is expected to show executive producer Rome Hartman the door today, with former CNN and MSNBC president Rick Kaplan taking his place. Kaplan has won 34 Emmy Awards as a producer at ABC News, where he worked with Paul Friedman, currently a deputy to CBS News President Sean McManus
