Future's Just Being 'Honest' (VIDEO)

Future Is Really Just Great
|

We should have shaken it by now, but it's still hard to get past the feeling that every Future song is better than it should be. Here's "Honest," in which the Atlanta rapper whose real last name is Cash (first name: Nayvadius) warbles his way through a series of confessions. None of them deserve pity ("Gold bottles on bottles, I'm just honest"; "$100,000 on watches, I'm just honest"), and yet if you're not paying attention, Future's salesmanship and mastery of pitch-bended robot rap make you feel a certain something. Combine his nearly endless charm with a lush video and you have a formula that's being rinse-repeated to perfection.
